The title of this blog highlights the journey I wish to take here. The last 12 years have been spent working with numbers – but it’s never been about the numbers for me. I prefer words. I feel more comfortable expressing myself in words than the world of numbers could ever make me.
I hope to use this space to reflect, but also to grow. This is a new journey and an exciting challenge for me. I am returning to study after 14 years away from university, and this passage will help me become a better writer and hopefully an astute editor.
It’s never too late to take a complete turn in your career path, and there’s no rule that states a passion cannot become a lifestyle.
